Vertical Adventures is hosting Round 3 of the 2024 Inter-school Climbing Competition the 22nd of September! Join us for some fun climbs, friendly competition, and fellow climbers!
This competition is designed to encourage youth climbers to participate in a climbing competition in a low-pressure environment. This is a great way for young climbers to get comfortable in a competitive setting and have fun while doing it!
Anyone from school up to year 13 is eligible to compete in the Junior, Intermediate or Senior categories. There is no need to be part of an official team from your school or pre-register, just show up on the day and get ready to rock!

9.00AM Registration
9.30AM Competition Starts
11.30AM Qualification Climbing Ends
12.00PM Finals Climbing Starts
1.15PM Prize Giving
1.30PM Expected Competition Finish
Competition entry is $25. We will have chalk, shoes, and harnesses available for hire.
Each climb is worth the grade equivalent in points if you get to the top. If you don’t top out, you’ll still be awarded points based on zones – so give it your best shot! Spot prizes will be given out along with some awesome prizes for placing.
Be sure to stay for the finals at 12pm and check out the new routes set especially for this Comp. The finalists always put on a show!
