climbing education

Vertical Adventures is able to offer your business study students a full day visit to our gym. The lectures are delivered by the business owner, Darrin Worsfold.  Darrin is a Builder, Teacher, Youth Worker, Outdoor Instructor and the owner of 2 business’s. The topics that Darrin explains to the students, using his life and his business as a focus, include;Entrepreneurship, ownership structure, human resource management, business communication, marketing and sources of finance.  He also looks at the difficulties involved in setting up a business in the leisure industry during an economic downturn.  These lectures are split up with climbing sessions, where the students are allowed to try out the climbing for themselves.  There is also opportunities to ask the staff and Darrin, any questions they may have.
